Life can be noisy. Pressures, tasks, and anxieties can be crushing. You may be feeling like the right balance for relief appears unreachable. With the right support, it is closer than you think. My name is Jocelyn Hawkins and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in individual, couples and family therapy. I maintain a virtual private practice providing telehealth sessions to anyone who resides in the state of Virginia. I have years of experience providing behavioral health services to diverse populations in various treatment settings, including residential, community-based, CSB emergency services/outpatient, and private practice.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in 2013. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and I am currently working towards certification. I am committed to helping individuals move from the quicksand of suffering with psychological and emotional pain to living a fulfilling life as they desire to live. I am proficient in issues with depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, cultural and social justice related trauma, self-esteem, and identity issues. I am passionate about being an advocate for change while assisting individuals on their journey to wellness and wholeness.
